Facebook Fan Box

Over 8 million users become fans of Facebook Pages every day to connect with their favorite public figures and organizations and get updates directly in their streams. Now, users can connect with brands, musicians, celebrities, businesses, and more, whether they're on or off Facebook.

With the Fan Box, brands can bring content from their Facebook Page into their website and help convert website visitors into Facebook fans. Users can view the most recent posts from the Page, see a list of other fans (including their friends), and, most importantly, become a fan without leaving the site. Additionally, if a user visits the site and isn't logged in to Facebook, the user can log in and become a fan directly inline as well.

The Fan Box is a social widget that allows Facebook Page owners to attract and gain Facebook fans from their own website. Additionally, if a user visits the site and isn't logged in to Facebook, the user can log in and become a fan directly inline as well.

The Fan Box lets users:

  • See how many users are already fans, and see some of their friends who are
  • Read recent posts from the Page
  • Become a fan with 1-click without needing to visit the Page

Each Fan Box includes the Become a Fan button. You can customize the Fan Box to include additional features including the stream of recent posts as well as a list of fans. The Fan Box can integrate tightly into your website - you can specify width and height to fit fanbox to your template layout.

Before you add a Fan Box to your website, you need a Facebook Page that promotes your website (you must be an admin of the Page). You will need your Page ID from Facebook.

In order to get API key for your page use following http://www.facebook.com/facebook-widgets/fanbox.php

  • Login to Facebook.
  • Choose your page from droplist.
  • Choose OTHER under "Choose where to add the widget", to generate fanbox HTML code. Note: at this point you can copy-paste it to your site, but you can not use it as a joomla module.
  • Find a value inside FB.init("XXXXXXXXXXXX"). As you are already guess the XXXXXXX is your API key.
  • Next find your page ID inside profile_id tag.
  • Copy Page ID and API key to module parameters.

Yes, by all means. You`ll get access to all club extensions, not just Facebook Fan Box. For your information, several month ago JPosition was cost 15$ per single download), while now you have 1 month period to download all club extensions.
So yes, we are VERY serious.

One more thing, about folks that think we are selling Facebook Fan Box for 15$, it`s not true! FFB is only a little bonus to registered club members. JPosition is still our primary product. Quote
